JC INSPIRING PEOPLE THROUGH HORSES

No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle- Winston Churchill

Owl House Stables is a true family business and was founded in 1990 by Louise Claringbould.  Since then, it has gone from strength to strength with Lou’s daughter Rachel taking over the day to day running of the stables in 2009.  But it was Lou’s mother, Jackie, who inspired not only the ethos of the stables itself but the core purpose of the charity.
Owl House Stables prides itself on being not just a stables but a community who cares for each other and creates a team atmosphere with both the horses and people.  The provision offered by the stables allows all visitors to learn in a relaxed, calm and supportive environment with top quality, trained instructors at hand to guide you learning journey.

OUR AIMS

The Jackie Claringbould Inspiring People Through Horses Charity recognises the wide variety of benefits of riding and being around horses and seeks to provide access to this experience to all.  The charity provides access to a range of supportive packages including differentiated riding lessons (both group and individual); Equine facilitated learning packages; individualised packages tailored to a person’s individual needs; and Equine Assisted Therapy provided by a qualified professional.

We have an inclusive ethos and our staff are SEND aware and attend regular training.  We believe in a culture of equity and inclusion, removing barriers to experiences where we can, to help as many people as possible to benefit from the positive impact horses can have on wellbeing.
